Two sunset harvests (2026-08-04 + 08-15) froze
the whole survivorship-free record — including the ~12.5k companies that died, the ones a
normal data feed quietly forgets. The frozen quarters are the bedrock, the proof the record can
never lose — and the city keeps building past them. This is a picture of all of it.

The city is alive: the Sharadar Core US
Equities bundle (Nasdaq Data Link) still feeds the shelves — daily prices (stocks +
funds, dead ones included), point-in-time valuations, and fundamentals land as new
quarterly chunks; 13F institutional holdings arrive ~46 days after each quarter ends (the
filing embargo). Every new chunk is a new building on its street, walked in by the next
census.

Every building is one file on disk.
