Original Edinburgh

A collaborative business improvement project, which empowered local businesses to take a leading role in the success of Edinburgh’s iconic Old Town, required an identity initially to unite its members. The project promoted and marketed the Old Town as a unique cultural, retail and hospitality experience.

The name reflects the Old Town being the 'original' Edinburgh – historically, and also in its complete authenticity and the distinctiveness of its cultural offering. The visual brand identity celebrates this in its styling by demonstrating the hallmarks of the Old Town and core pillars of the development plan.
